Villawood hosts Food and Wine Expo for new community
Point Cook’s nationally acclaimed home address, ‘Alamanda’, by Villawood Properties, was a mecca for the hungry and thirsty on Saturday 17 April as it hosted its inaugural Food and Wine Expo.
Over 200 people attended the day which included cooking demonstrations and food and wine tastings including a selection of gourmet cheese, seafood, cakes, specialty breads and more.
In celebration of the opening of the new Alamanda Café and Providore, cooking demonstrations by café director and head chef, David Williams, offered café-goers an insight into the quality of cuisine now available at the new eatery.
Celebrating the official opening of the region’s highly anticipated café and restaurant, the expo event included a jazz band and kid’s activities as well as a visit from Villawood’s ‘Waddles’ the Platypus.
